Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Realscript ("Realscript," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, console, and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and authentication identifiers, provided when you sign up or sign in (including via Google Sign-In).
- Organization & business data — the company profile, service area, and contact details you enter, and the property records, jobs, estimates, contacts, photos, and measurements you or your team create in the Services.
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Services, used to operate, secure, and improve them.
- Cookies — we use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Google user data
If you connect a Google service — such as Google Sign-In or your Google Business Profile — we access only the data needed to provide the feature you requested:
- Google Sign-In: your basic profile (name, email, profile image) to create and authenticate your account.
- Google Business Profile: with your explicit authorization, your business account and location information, and the ability to create posts on the location(s) you select — so you can publish updates (for example, project photos) to your profile from within Realscript. We store the resulting authorization token in encrypted form and use it only to perform the actions you initiate.
Realscript's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the Services, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. You can revoke Realscript's access at any time in your Realscript settings or via your Google Account permissions.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Services.
- To authenticate you and manage your organization's access.
- To perform actions you initiate, such as publishing a post to your Google Business Profile.
- To communicate with you about your account and service updates.
- To improve the Services and develop new features.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that operate the Services on our behalf — including our authentication and database provider (Supabase), object storage (Cloudflare R2), and hosting (Vercel, Railway) — under agreements that limit their use of the data.
- With Google, when you direct us to act on a connected Google service.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.
- In a business transfer, as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, tenant isolation, and encryption of sensitive credentials at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.
Your rights and choices
- Access, correct, or export your information.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Disconnect a linked Google service at any time, which revokes our future access.
To exercise these rights, contact us at thenickjharris@gmail.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
